Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

This very chilly afternoon I was with the Ryan family, I felt so bad for their little girlies, they were sooo cold, little Madeline's tears just broke my heart. So... we did our shoot in double time so we could get the girls in and out of the cold (Caleb was a trooper, I don't remember him mentioning the cold even one time).
I just LOVE the picture above, my favorite part is Kerry's (mom) beautiful smile, every time her kiddos would cuddle on her or tell her a secret her face would light up and the most captivating smile would spread across her beautiful face. Fabulous!!
Precious little Madeline

Ah... another favorite, I just love how Caleb is hugging and comforting her sister... absolutely precious!!

There were some really sweet smiles from Emily but I loved these more peaceful shots, it feels as if you can look into those beautiful eyes and see straight into her soul. What a beautiful little girl.

This is my favorite shot of Caleb, I just love the twinkle in his eyes! Well, it's only 3 minutes until tomorrow so I'm going to sign off and catch a few hours of sleep before another busy day tomorrow. With lots of winter sessions coming up, let me encourage you to fully embrace the season in which you are having your shoot done. Winter photos are some of my favorites, but no one likes being cold so dig out the turtle necks, cozy sweaters, colorful scarves & mittens, even color coordinated jackets look great!! Until tomorrow!! cija

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

The day after Thanksgiving has become our annual Tree Cutting Day. Every year we join the Kurtz family to trapse thru the woods looking for the perfect tree (HA!! they do not exsist in nature!!) but we are getting better and better and picking out our tree. For the past few years I have also taken the Kurtz's family pictures and yesterday was no exception. I just love this family... they are in fact my family! Enjoy!

Newborn Photographer in Castle Rock, Colorado

Can I just say... I LOVE BABIES!! Newborn shoots are just too much fun and this one was no exception. This little doll is Gigi, oh is she a sweet little thing. This picture win my "favorite of the day", I just thought she look precious tucked in that drawer and when she is a senior in highschool her mom and dad can remember the days when she could sleep in the drawer.
It's pretty hard to resist the tutu!! It's tutu cute!
Okay, I love this picture of Sadie and her baby too! There's just nothin' like being a mama.
All dressed up and ready for Christmas!

Okay, this girl had like 10 pretty toe pictures! Maybe she will grow up to be a foot model! I was lovin' it! (You know how much I love the feet!)

Remember is you are having a baby, for the best newborn picture schedule your session with in the first 10 days. Gigi was 7 days old. For more information visit the website at www.3wishesphotography.com Hugs! Cija

Photographer in Littleton, CO

On Saturday, I met up with the Porter family. I first met Sarah when she scheduled her belly shots, she was expecting her precious little girl, Kate.
It's hard to believe that Kate is already one year old. Oh, I just love her white blonde hair!! I wish I could pull that off!
Yep, it's another daddy-daughter shot, I'm just a sucker for those daddy-daughter moments. I think Kate will cherish this picture when she is older and has little ones of her own.

I think the picture below will get my favorite of the day. Ya know, boys usually get blamed for the rowdiness and funny faces during a shoot, but not this time... I LOVE IT!
Don'tcha just wonder what's going through that little mind of his?

Well, I'm off. I'll be back late this week, with a newborn, family pictures and set of 1 year old twins!

Courthouse Bliss!!

So this morning, I was mindin' my own business, driving carpool when the phone rings and it's my gal pal, Tina. She wants to know if I can swing by the Arapahoe County Courthouse and take a few pics of her sister's wedding. So, I said to myself "Precious... sounds like fun!"
This was my very first courthouse wedding, not just as a photographer but ever! Pretty cool, aye? My observation was that the place could use a "women's touch" if you know what I mean. Oh!!! I almost forgot! So Tina pulls up while I am walking into the building, so I decided to wait and walk in with her and her kids. We get to security and Tina's oldest son, has a knife in his pocket!! Who knew they would frown on that?!?
The ceremony was really nice... the judge was super nice and did such a great job.Ah... my favorite moment "You may kiss the Bride."

Afterward, we headed back to Victor and Wendy's place for their reception. Victor's family prepared some amazing Mexican food, I am holding out hope for the green chili recipe!
And Wendy's mom made this beautiful and equally YUMMY cake!

What a fun and unexpected evening!
I wish Victor and Wendy a lifetime of happiness.

V + W = True Love!
