I'm back!! Two shoots tonight. The first was with sweet girlie girl... Chloe! Oh, this child just melts my heart, could she be any cuter?!?! I don't think so, and now she is starting to talk, which is just to sweet for words! I met Chloe for the first time when she was about 6 months old. She came to have her pictures taken at my Halloween Costume Day, she was a "little pea in a pod". Since then I have taken her pictures four other times and she just gets cuter and cuter and cuter!

Hello everybody!! Welcome to the crazy days of summer! The kids are running around like wild, the sun is shining and the wind is blowin'! And boy was it blowing last night!!! But even with beautiful long hair the Trout family and I managed to "make it work" (any Project Runway Fans?!?!?). I actually used to ride the school bus with Sheri many moons ago! It was fun to get to meet her family... Jonathan, Justan, Jake, Joey, Ashleigh, Ann & Abigail! Oh and Jeff too! Which make me wonder... since the boys are all "J's" why aren't the girls all "S's" hmmm... thoughts to ponder. Well I am off to two more shoot tonight so I need to wrap it up and get outta here! Today we had field day at school! Fun times! But boy was it windy! I must admit, I am a little over the wind! Fortunately it did die down a bit for yesterday's shoot with Sara and her family. We met at Hudson Garden's and totally lucked out when we found out it was a free day!! They were setting up for a wedding while we were there and all I could think of was the wind wiping that beautiful wedding gown right over the bride's head! Okay, when did Colorado become such a windy place to live!? My house is whistling Dixie and I can't keep the patio furniture on the patio to save my life!

I had to reschedule some shoots this week... while redecorating my daughter's room I managed to drag her bed up and over my foot; unfortunately the toenail on my big toe went with the bed! YOUCH! Then, to make matters worse Fred Flintstone treated me at the walk-in clinic, he grabbed himself a pair of dinosaur bones and ripped my nail the rest of the way off! Double YOUCH! But today, I braved wearing a shoe (if you can call a "croc" a shoe) and head out to meet my sweet little buddy, Kylie.

Kylie is 3 years old, and I have had the pleasure of taking her photos every six months since she was 18 months old! It's so much fun to watch these little ones grow up! While the wind can reek havoc at a family shoot, hair flying in every direction, it can actually create some pretty cool effects in a single person shoot! Today was the best day! My oldest daughter Melia asked if we could spend the day together, just me and her, and I was more that happy to oblige! We went out to lunch, had her hair done with sparkles and everything, went the to American Girl Doll store, got a Starbucks and shopped for a new outfit! A perfect girl's day out!! Now I'm looking forward to doing it with Sabrina and Ryanne! The fun continued this evening when Rod and I took the girls to the annual DU Ice Show!! But in between shopping and iceskating I did a combo shoot with the Johnson family. Avari just turned 3!! Yippee!! and Shantel is expecting a new baby this month!!
