I found this gem of a location driving around with my husband today, and knew it would be perfect for Kim's family shoot. It was absolutely gorgeous and not another living soul around! Just like Dawson's Butte was 10 years ago! HAHA!! I always look forward to my shoot with this family. They are just good people and so kind. My first shoot with them was Braxton's two-year-old photos, and we have done annual photos of Braxton and the family ever since.  You're the BEST! Love you all!!

Earlier this week, I was traipsing around Dawson's Butte with James and Jenny and their sweet kids. I first met Jenny at her very first newborn shoot, and we have been doing shoots together ever since.  Hey, "Hello" to my friends, Kyle and Lindsay, and their beautiful family. We first met at church many years ago, but we bonded over our love for cheese enchiladas and Tex-Mex enchilada sauce. Lindsay was hoping for some fall color, but the scrub oak was not quite there yet, and most of the real color is found in people's yards! But Saturday, I spotted these orange trees along 5th Street. The wind blew a lot of the leaves off, but I loved how they lined the sidewalk! The next challenge was the weather! It started raining as we were walking to this location and it never stopped, but the tree gave us just enough protection that we were able to finish the shoot. Of course, that meant walking back to the car in the rain, but sometimes you just have to do what ya gotta do!
