Was this morning Colorado Perfection or what?!?!?  So stickin' GEE-OR-GUS!!!

All I wanted to do was run out with my kids and camera and take pictures!!

But I was trapped in reality, so instead of frolicking in the snow I was at the orthodontist with Melia.

 Oh those eyes!!!  They look like pools of crystal blue water!

STUNNING!

 But earlier this week I was with... CLARK!!  He is almost 2!!

and it was an extra special day because Ally and Aidan were there too!!

Oh.. the cuteness!!

I love this far away look in Ally's eyes...  makes you wonder what she is thinking about. 

 Well, I hope are enjoying your Thursday!!!  I am off!!

Yep, Tina and I were at it again this week! 

There will be so many happy husband's this Valentine's day (and happy ladies too... these photo shoots are just too much fun!)

(Seriously I don't know why my text won't center on the page, but in an effort to not end up throwing my computer across the room, I am letting that go now.) 

This sweet gal is one of my favorite clients, she hired me my very first year in "official" business and has hired me every year since!  I told Tina she has the cold weather curse!  Every shoot, even this one, it is freezing outside!  

So here's the deal, I LOVE this type of photography and Tina and I have been talking, I want to make this a bigger part of my business!  As know know, I could go on and on and on about how much I love watching the impact these shoots have on these precious girls which is the major reason these shoots are so close to my heart.  And with birthdays, father's day, weddings and anniversaries all year long this could easily be year round business and not just for Valentine's day. 

SO...

I need your HELP!  I need you to spread the word, tell your friends.  Oh and you... what about you!!  You should book your own session!  Do it for you!  This isn't about having a perfect body, this about seeing the beauty in who YOU ARE!   It's an amazing feeling to look at pictures of yourself and not feel the need to pick it apart, pointing out all your "flaws" and it's even more amazing to see yourself through the eyes of someone who loves you.  I will never forget the feeling I had as Rod looked at my photos; makes me a wee bit teary even now.  

So stop making excuses, stop saying "I'll do it when..."  and just DO IT!!!  You won't regret it!!!  I promise!  XOXO Cija

Family Photography in Castle Pines, CO

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday.  Mine has been quite delightful... church this morning and then a baby shower with the twins and now the kids have some friends over (date night for mom and dad).  Last night was Rod and my turn, we came home to watch a movie in the comfort of our own home and then went out for dinner.  It was lovely!!  But before our date night began I was with the Ward Family... all 17 of them!!!  3 of the 4 families are visiting for Montana and Washington state, so it was the perfect time to get everyone out for a family photo!

 I won't even begin to pretend that I remember or even knew all the names during the shoot.  But I do know that this is Ernie and Patty (AKA mom and dad and grandma and grandpa)

And their 9 fabulous grandkids!!!  Nice mustaches aye?!

 Can I just take a moment here to say how MUCH i LOVE the colors!!!

Rachel was in charge of wardrobe, way to go Rachel!!!

 This is Andy and his family... if I am right this is the Colorado family. 

 Mike and Kelsey decided to add on a mini family shoot to this Lot and Lots of Wishes package which gained them some individual images of just their kiddos and 3 extra images for their CD. 

 What great shoot!  The kids was FABULOUS!!  They did great!  And we used up every bit of available light!!  Thanks Ward Family!!!

Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

We have made it to another FRIDAY!!!  Pretty excited for the weekend and just spending time with my peeps.  Last night we hit the rodeo!!  Pretty good time was had by all, there was a whole lot of buckin' going on that's for sure!

Earlier in the week, I had a super fun time with these lovely ladies.  There really isn't a better way to spend then afternoon with a couple fun filled high school girls!

Shelby (above) is a Sophmore and Bailey is a Freshman!  

 Those photos are going to make for an awesome birthday present for their Mom!!  Wish I know she will absolutely LOVE!  I would love it and I'm a mom so I should know!!

 Ah... Sisters!!  Best friends for life!
