Senior Pictures in Castle Pines, CO

So I said this sneak peek wouldn't be up until Monday, but I was feeling guilty for watching 6 straight hours of "Pride and Prejudice" this afternoon!!!  So, to ease my guilty conscience I am up late working. 

 This stunning young lady is Michelle.  She is a 2015 Senior at Grandview High School. 

 MAN!  I LOVE this location in the morning!!!  The light is sooooo yummilicious!

And her beautiful red hair with the fresh fall colors, well… it was perfection!

 Now add to that her amazing sense of style… 

well, she is lucky that we aren't still out there taking pictures!!

 Plans for next year are uncertain, but she is thinking my University of Colorado at Denver to study physical therapy. 

 I pray the very best in all that she decides to do!!  I had any absolutely fabulous fun time on this shoot!!

 Now in closing, my thoughts about  Pride and Prejudice.  I first saw the remake of the movie with Keira Knightley and LOVED it!  Today I watched a mini-series (6 hour episodes) and I loved all the additional details but in the end I loved the dramatic ending of the Keira Knightley version so so much that I am truly torn!!  

 So, I say… watch BOTH!  Now, should I try reading the book???

Jane Austin seems a wee bit above my reading skills!

Senior Pictures in Littleton, CO

Time for another sneak peek.  This time it is Eric a 2015 Senior at Heritage High School.

Wow… it was a beautiful night for a photoshoot, maybe evening a little bit on the warm side, but I thankful for the sunny weather and NO RAIN!! I hear that we are supposed to get a lot of snow this winter, which actually make me pretty excited for snow shoots (plan warm wardrobes my friends!!)

So Eric is planning to go into engineering and is thinking about school at 

CU, Montana or Washington State.

 Eric also plays basketball for Heritage (which did not come as a surprise, he was very tall.)

Note to self: start carrying a step stool.

 This bench picture may seem a little random but there is a story behind it.  Eric's dad's father (Eric's grandfather) was a gardner at this community garden for some 10 year + and when he moved they dedicated this bench in honor of his service to the community.  Pretty cool huh?!  The garden was locked up to Eric jumped the fence and we did what we could with our limited access. 

 On a side note, Eric's dad is having a bone narrow transplant today, would you please join me in praying for Eric's dad and his Aunt who is donating the narrow?

Baby photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Gonna make this a quick one… tomorrow is just minutes away!!  But on Monday morning Blake and I got together for his 1 year old pictures. 

 I am lovin' those little teeth! And the expression below is just about the sweetest I have ever seen!

Senior Pictures in Castle Rock, CO

 So on Saturday I was with Millie and her mom, Kim for some senior pictures! 

After the rather gloomy weather on Friday it was absolutely beautiful!!

 I did senior pictures with Millie's sister Meredith a couple of summers ago so it was fun to get to work with both girls!

 I told Millie that she looks like a horse back rider to me… because I think she looks like a Ralph Lauren model with her classic wavy hair!

 But she is actually a lacrosse player and plans to join her sister at DuQuesne next year where they will both play lacrosse. 

 I had a really fun time on this shoot… and am sad that the senior shoot are coming to an end for this season, they are truly my favorite shoots!

 But for now, I must go… school is beckoning me!

Senior Pictures in Castle Rock, CO

 With news of this blustery weather headed our way, Hayden and I snuck out a night early for his senior shoot. 

 And we had a beautiful night except for just a wee bit of wind. 

 Hayden is a 2015 senior at Castle View High School,  Can you guess what sport he plays?!?!

 While he is not certainly where he would like to study next year, he does know that he wants to study environmental sciences. 

Speaking of which, us Cooksey's should probably study some science ourselves.
