God is still a God of Miracles...

Some of you will remember my little friend Ellie and her big sister Sophie, as for over a year I had a page on my website dedicated to Ellie and a request for prayer. Ellie was diagnosed was a very serious and rapid spreading type of cancer, that claims many of it's little victims. Last October, I had the distinct honor of being allowed to capture some moments of that journey on film. Now a year has passed and Ellie is in remission, a miracle indeed. This precious family has been given time...

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before your throne of glory with great joy and happiness. Thank you so much for the time you have granted this family and that Ellie can run and play in a cancer free body. I pray for your continued protection of this little life. In the precious name of your Son and our Savior. Amen.

Festive Fall Photos!

Tonight I was with the Pfaff family and it was a beautiful Colorado evening! As far as I am concerned there is no finer season than Autumn, the crisp air and beautiful splashes of color never fail to inspire awe for such a grand and spectacular creation. It is easy to see the lavishness of God in every detail! I am afraid the window for scheduling a fall session has closed, as my calendar is booked for the remainder of October, but I have a handful of openings left for November, so there is still time to schedule a session of your own for Christmas cards! You can check out my available dates at http://www.3wishesphotography.com/. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of the Pfaff's photo shoot as much as I enjoyed spending time with this precious family. Nighty Night all, I'll be back in a couple of days... Cija

Mommy & Me

Just wanted to drop in with a few pics from yesterday's shoot. What a group of cute kids!! Grandma was visiting so she got to have a picture taken with all of her grandkids! I loved that the little one needed her blanket, when she is all grown up it will be fun to look back and remember what a friend and companion she had in that blanket. Hope you're all enjoying the fall weather! I better run, it's almost time to pick up Melia from school and then it's off to another shoot. Hope you all have a cozy warm evening with your family! Family Photography in Denver

Yesterday, was busy day... it started off at Starbucks to work on planning the christmas dessert and boutique at our church, followed by lunch and an afternoon of shopping with my good friend Stephanie, then it was off to the park for a photoshoot, a quick stop at Chick-fil-a for dinner and then off to play games at a friend's house! Family photography was on the menu last night, I have known Jon for over 20 years and the scary part about that, is that we didn't meet during our elementary, jr high, or high school years!! I would like to say that our shot was straight forward and uneventful but we did have a little bit of excitement. After promising their daughter that in ALL the times I had been to this park I have NEVER seen a snake, while walking to our final shoot location, she stumbled across just that! A SNAKE! Poor thing, she jumped about a mile high and mom was not too far behind her! I have always known that there had to be snakes out there but to actually see one!!! Well that is a whole other ball game! Well, I better wrap it up, I am off to another shoot! Enjoy your Sunday, God bless you, all. Cija

Family Photography in Denver

Well, I promised myself that I would get this written before tomorrow, but I am officially 7 minutes into tomorrow, is it any wonder why I am so tried all the time. Well, it was another windy day in Colorado... but not so windy that we had to reshedule today's shoot!! Which is a very good thing! In the end it turned out just fine. There is no way to show a little of everything we took today, with a group of 17 there are a lot of different combinations, but hopefully this will give you a flavor of our time together. Pardon me, if I make this short... the alarm will be going off much too soon and I have a jam packed day tomorrow so I better say nighty night! See you soon! Cija
