Newborn Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

So this little monkey is Aidrick and he is only 6 days old... so precious!

He couldn't decide if he wanted to be asleep or awake, but it is always fun when we can sneak a peek at those baby blues.
Ah... I am in newborn heaven!!
The nose...
the lips!!!
Aidrick's daddy served in Iraq, I loved these images with his hat and dog tags.
I loved how Aidrick was so attached to his mommy... she could settle him right down,
look how happy he looks to be snuggled in mommy's arms.

Sometimes the cuteness is just more than I can take!!
Okay, mommy kissing the TOES!!!!  That is just TOO MUCH!!!
Okay, I must stop!  I have a little milestone baby waiting to show off her 6 month skills!
Be back soon!!! Well, probably Monday, so have a GREAT weekend!

Boudoir Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

NOTE: While I offer full service Boudoir photography I do not post any of my "more delicate" work in this public forum, to see a private boudoir gallery please contact me at cija@3wishesphotography.com.
It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!  It's Boudoir season!!  Oh how I love these shoots, I told Tina (my boudoir buddy) that we should go into full time boudoir business! On Tuesday... well, one day this week anyway, Tina and I had back to back boudoir shoots with friends, Jessica and Julie!
The only thing better than 1 boudoir shoot is 2 boudoir shoots!!!
I just wish you could see how beautiful their pictures turned out, but... I have made a decision to not post for the world photos that are meant for their husbands, so these head shots will have to do.
If you are interested in scheduling your own totally FUN boudoir shoot, contact me to see a private gallery of my work (ladies only please!!!)

Maternity Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

So today was a little bit belly shots, a little bit kiddo shots and a little bit family shots!!
This fabulous trio is Brandon, Katie and their daughter Kylie.  I have been taking little Kylie's pictures since she was a Newborn (Katie did the milestones package so you got to see her sweet face, not once but 5 times in just one year!!!)  And now Katie is expect twin boys in just 12 weeks!

Kylie is pretty shy... but she did a great job!  I won her over with an Angelina Ballerina book, I was so proud of her!  She is going to make a great big sister.
 Okay, isn't Katie just... beautiful!!
I think she is positively stunning, I love her hair, her beautiful smile, her gorgeous eyes!!
(and we know from past posts that I love her eye liner!!)
We actually had a pretty nice day out there!!  It's been a wee bit chilly lately!!
But... I love that the snow is still on the ground!

A party of 3... soon to be a party of 5!!
I will be praying for a safe and healthy delivery!!
Tomorrow I have back to back boudoir shoots with my boudoir buddy... Miss T!
I can't wait!!  Oh the fun we will have!!
But for now, it is off to bed (notice the time people!!  10:06!!!!)

Baby Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

On Friday I had my first shoot since taking off two wonderful weeks to play with my girls and meeting up with Sloan was the perfect way to easy back in!!!  She was celebrating her 1st birthday!!!  Woohoo!!
Happy Birthday, Sloan!!
Somewhere around mid December, winter decided to show up and Sloan's mom wasn't too sure she would be a fan of the nippy weather, so she opted to take the pictures indoors.  I had a great location idea, the Hyatt Regency Hotel!!  A huge atrium would let in tons of yummy natural light and the marble staircase in the entry way would make for a beautiful background.
Guess what?  The Hyatt Regency is closed for renovations.
You would think that would be a big huge notation of that on their website!!
So when Sloan showed up we decided to check out the Marriott down the way.
I just love these two pics!  Her sweet little profile makes my heart melt and I love love love this action "crawling" shot!! I wish I had a picture of Ryanne crawling she had a crawl that was truly all her own.
Okay... I love these too!!!  Look at that sweet little mouth!!
Tomorrow things are back in full swing, a mere 6 shoots this week!!!  I am not sure how that happened, one of these days I will get a handle on my schedule (oh Amity, I do so need an assistant to keep me on track!!)  But even though it is a busy week, I am excited because two of those shoots are Boudoir sessions for Valentine's day!!  I absolutely love boudoir shoots, it is so fun to see how the Lord shows these precious women just how truly beautiful they are!!
I only have room for 2 maybe 3 boudoir shoot prior to Valentine's day, so if you are thinking about it, contact me ASAP to get on the schedule!!!  You won't regret it, I promise!!!

Christmas Vacation

Did you miss me?!?!  I hope it wasn't too hard on you having me gone for a couple of weeks... boy oh boy, have I been having a good time.  I am not really one for New Year's resolutions, but there is one thing I want to do better at this year and that is remembering to take photos of my family and our wonderful life.  I was not so good at that this past year!!  As I looked to collect photos for this post I realized just how many things I didn't have documented.  And those I do... are mostly taken with my phone (I am not so good with the phone I need manual settings and dials to turn!!)    But regardless, here is a tiny peek into our goings on these past couple of weeks.

We had PERFECT snowflake picture taking snow, so I tried my hand at it once more...  oh what I wouldn't give for a super fantastic macro lens (hint hint....)
We had a super fun evening with the Henderson's... Starbucks, then the Broadmoor Hotel to see the gingerbread houses and then dinner at The Airplane Restaurant!
It was pretty hokey but the kids loved it.
Christmas baking with the neighbor girls (oh me oh my... I bit off WAY more than I could chew for Christmas Eve!  I baked from 8:00 AM until 5:30 that night... Santa Cookies, Reindeer noses, White Chocolate confetti popcorn, Sweetie Pies, 5 batches of cookie dough, 4 different sugar scrubs, home made crescent rolls,  chocolate covered peanuts, a beef roast, pink fluff, and... roasted potatoes!!
 I was pooped!)
The girlies and I did some crafting...  Ryanne is sewing and playing on the iPad all at the same time, this girl has got some skills, let me tell you!!

We played with the lights!! OH and decorated two Christmas trees, our "fresh" tree... croaked 2 weeks in, just wouldn't drink any water!!  I was so paranoid about it going up in flames I wouldn't turn the lights on, so in the end we took it down and put up an artificial one, it looked pretty pathetic so I had to get creative when photographing it.
Added 3 new members to the family:
Snowball, Mocha and Twix
Hung out with the Cromwell's and crafted some handmade claymation!!
Enjoyed a cookie exchange and a neighborhood tour of the lights, hosted by the Connor's!
Had lunch out at Panda Express and got to see "Wreck-it Ralph" with these 4 crazy girls.
Went to see Breaking Dawn Part 2 for Lisa's birthday
Rang in the New Year with friends
(like our very fancy toasting glasses to go with our very fancy Sparkling cider?!?!?)
So I forgot to buy the annual Gingerbread house to make on New Year's day with the Kurtz's so Ann and I scrambled and came up with foam houses, this is the garden but the houses were quite cute, Valentine in theme but still cute!  Come on people, work with me here!
Enjoyed our traditional Monkey Bread on New Year's day. I gotta love how everyone is eating healthy  after the first of the year and the Cooksey's and chowin' on Monkey Bread.  Oh Cija...
Taught my family how to play Clue... Can you believe it was Rod's very first time?!?  For the record... it was Miss Scarlet in the Living Room with the Wrench!!
And celebrated Rod and my's 20th Wedding Anniversary!!! We obviously went to Gabriel's for dinner, excellent lobster and creme brule' but the rest was pretty average.  We decided we are losing our phoophiness...  would have preferred a steak at Lonestar!!
So I have one more day of vacation (tomorrow) and then it is back to work on Friday.

I am all booked up for January but I am currently booking for February.  Still have room for up to 4 Boudoir shoots prior to Valentine's day but you must book soon!!!

Sloan and I will be back on Monday with her 1 Year Old sneak peek!!!
