Senior Pictures in Castle Rock, CO

Holy Lightening Batman! Turned my computer right off and made the whole house shake!

Okay, back to what's brought us here. Karlton's Senior Pictures.

We were actually scheduled for last week, but just before his shoot the clouds rolled in dark and heavy and 30 minutes after we called it, the rain came down and didn't stop for a couple of days.

So we rescheduled to bright and early before church on Sundy morning. I love this location in the morning, the morning light so beautiful and the surroundings are so peaceful.

So you may have figured out that Karlton is a soccer player for Thunder Ridge and a long boarder.

I met Karlton's mom a couple of years ago when I did Tressa's, Karlton's sister, senior pictures.

Might I add we rescheduled twice because of rain with Tressa!

So Karlton is thinking about a career in either video or photography, but either way he hopes to work in the extreme sports world.

Well, if I am lucky this storm will blow out of here and I will be able to do tonight's senior shoot!

Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

"Ah"… there, I will go ahead and say it for you!!

These two sweet girls are two of my favorites, Natalie and Emma!!

Look how much they've grown up!! Little Natalie is on the left, one of my favorite pictures from her 6 month shoot (where she stuck her tongue out the whole time!!)

Mom, Katie and Dad, David came along as well, to make it a family affair!

Oh my goodness, these girls were so sweet!

All you had to say was "Cinderella" and little Emma would light up and laugh!

Miss Natalie, was so curious about the long fluffy grass around her!! She couldn't help but pull the fluffies off the grass and throw them in the air.

A beautiful night and a beautiful family.

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Well… here we are again!! It's MONDAY!

*Yes, I am trying to convince myself that I am excited about that fact.

It was a busy shoot weekend, because of last week's rain, so we many sneak peeks to get through

So… let's get started. This is Suzi and her two beautiful daughters,

who were out visiting from California.

Fun sister fact… one lives in San Diego the other in the Bay Area but they both work at Trader Joe's!

I don't know why I found that so fascinating but I did (perhaps I need to get out more).

To say our shoot was with out adventure would be a lie.

The grass was long and very wet, I followed trials with no thought to where I had come from, so finding our cars at the end was well… darn right exciting!

And of course… with the grass areas come critters, some furry others slithery!

We never were able to identify what exactly was rustling near by, but my vote is a mouse!

I just know Suzi will treasure these photos with her girls. I took some of me any my girlies a couple of years ago and they just warm my heart every time I see them.

In fact it may be time to take some new ones.
