Party Time!

From time to time, get asked to photograph a birthday party. Sunday was just such a day. With me taking the pictures, mom and dad get to sit back and enjoy the party with their family and friends. Oh don't get me wrong, I enjoy it too! Parties are super fun to capture thru the lens, there's always so much fun stuff to choose from! And I love taking pictures of stuff just as much as I love taking pictures of people! So it's a win-win for me! So here is just a peek at Melanie's 12th Birthday Party!

Happy Monday!! Usually Monday's are kind of a drag, but the girls are in school, Rod is at work and I intend to get all sorts of sumpthing done! So... it is a happy Monday! Had a great weekend! Saturday we (the family) went to Nomelie's (yep, my favorite cupcake joint) for cakes and latte's (ginger peach... I love you!)!! Then I took the family with me to my shoot with Brooke and her peeps (they played in the fountain) and then it was out to dinner! You can image how thrilled all these boys were about having their pictures taken (again!), although I think they may have a future male model on their hands with Austin, he was definitely strikin' a pose. I love seeing the different personalities in kids. Jordan was the super cool one, he looked good, and he knew it. Jacob, well he was just along for the ride, he was up for whatever, when ever and cute little Cade... well he LOVES trains and was not at all happy when it was time to leave! Today I met up with some cousins... I just love kids! Their goofy expressions and all the silly things they do! One thing's for sure, kids know how to enjoy life, they simply squeeze all the fun out of it. I went a little edit crazy on this one, just too many cute combinations! And Maddux needed a few extra because he is turning 2!! And Samara... well she needed a few extra too, because she just got here all the way from Korea!! So I am sure you understand! Senior Pictures in Denver, Colorado

Yippee!!! We are officially only 6 minutes from Friday! Not a lot going on this weekend, couple of photoshoots, a birthday party, and church, of course. Ah... it will be nice to not be going a 100 miles an hour.
