Children & Family Photography in Castle Rock, Colorado

It's been another busy photo weekend, with shoots every night and the 1st of two Halloween Photo Days on Saturday (I'll post some of my favorite ghosts and goblins after tomorrow's encore presentation!!). This afternoon I got to see one of my favorite little people... Chloe! I just love her!!! She is officially 18 months (which... for all you mom's is the roughest age for photos, so take a big breath and be ready to go with the flow)! First we collected pine cones, then we blew on dandelions, then we chased the bunnies, then we played in the leaves and then we found a LADYBUG!! I could hang with Chloe all day long!! (Her parents aren't too bad either!) Well, I hope you enjoy this sneak peek at their photos... be back soon! Cija www.3wishesphotography.com

Family Photography in Castle Rock, CO

Wow!! Was last night a beautiful Colorado evening or what??!?! I got to be out enjoying the weather with the Smith family and I must say, I just fell in love with their little girl... Carly. I love that name too! She was a little sweetheart! It's another jam packed weekend for Cija, today is the Halloween Photo day from Noon till 3:30 so get those kiddos decked out in their costumes and head over for some fun Halloween shots! The cost is just $10 and you get 4-5 images, now that's a good deal!! Then I am off to another family shoot followed by a wedding, church in the morning, more pictures, Home Fellowship and then more Halloween pictures on Monday! Phew... I'm tired just thinking about it! Well I gotta run, lots to do before my little ghosts and goblins arrive! Hugs to all... Cija

Families... Families... Families...

Tis the season for family pictures! Last night I was with the Spomer Family, I met Heather a couple of year's ago at the Dance Studio where our daughters took dance lessons together. It has been just about a year since I saw them last and I am always so surprised to see how much kids grow in a year!! Surely mine are not growing that fast, they'll be little forever, right!??!? It's always a good reminder for me... unfortunately they won't be small forever and I let too many moments slip away distracted with stuff that just doesn't matter. I was desperately searching for the top of my desk yesterday when I came across two 3x5 cards, where I had jotted down some "advice for Cija". I think the advise is soooo good I want to share it with you!!
- My challenge is to help my children fall in love with Jesus, I need to focus on the relationship not just teaching them the "facts".
- My children need to understand they are loved, accepted & wanted by me and also by a real, caring & powerful God.
- I need to model God in my behavior towards my children, be happy to see them, have all the time in the world for them, and be patient and tender with them.
With that said I have a set of twins and a round a Princess Yahtzee to tend to! In case you have forgotten... Jesus LOVES you! and in case no one's ever told you... JESUS LOVES YOU, He is happy to see you and He has all the time in the world for you!! Hugs... Cija

Family Portraits in Denver, CO

Where did fall go? It was down right chilly this past weekend, but to be honest I didn't mind, my shoots had to be rescheduled but that meant time with my family. On Saturday, I spent most of the day with my oldest daughter, Melia. We met Nana at Costco to pick out Christmas dresses, which we were able to get in each of the girl's signature colors, pink for Melia, green for Sabrina and of course blue for Ryanne. After shopping we stopped by Chick-fil-a before Melia had her manicure and pedicure, I must admit I was VERY jealous!!! But at least they let me sit in the massage chair while I waited, so I did get a little pampering! Sunday was church and then more time with my cherubs while daddy was at orchestra practice. It was so nice to just be here with my peeps. This afternoon I was with the Wall family, I did Laura's senior pictures a few months ago and they decided to bring the whole family out for a family sitting. Family sessions start at just $150, if you are looking to use your photos in this year's Christmas card be sure to schedule your session prior to November 30th. You can check out my availability at http://www.3wishesphotography.com/ Hope you have a nice evening, time to go spend some time with the love of life... Cija
