Last week's bitter cold weather meant a week off for Cija, I'm not going to lie, it was a welcomed rest during a very busy fall, pre-Christmas card season.

But yesterday, it was back to work and what a fun way to get back at it.

Snow on the ground, and this fabulous family!!

 This is McKenna. (Favorite Movie character, McKenna in "Somewhere in Time")

 This is Briar.  (Favorite Disney Movie, Sleeping Beauty!!)

And this very handsome fella is Grant.  (First major crush??? GRANT!)

 Justin was a little worried this couch wasn't up for a family of 5.  My having Sabrina give it a test run, did not ease his concerns. 

 Ah…such sweet kiddos!

 Pretty excited about having some snow on the ground!  Love Love Love!

 This lovely lady is Laura,  McKenna, Briar and Grant's Au Pair. 

I loved how she would sing to the kids to help get their attention. So Sweet.

 Just about this time, the wind kicked up… Big Time!

and it was FREEZING!!

 I was very glad that we were minutes from being finished with the shoot!

I forgot just how cold I can get after laying in the snow, Starbucks never tasted soooo good!!

Children's' Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Tomorrow I was supposed to be with Luke and Cade, but the weather is not going to cooperate.

So I popped over to their house yesterday afternoon to sneak their shoot in before the cold weather hit. 

It is always so nice of them to have some picturesque backyards!!

Mom sat at the patio table while dad put together a basketball hoop. 

I have been taken pictures of these boys since before Cade was born, in fact my first shoot with Julie was her maternity shoot with Cade, and now Cade is 5!

And looks just like Julie I might add.

A couple of heartbreakers if you ask me!

Ah brothers… I hope they will be friends for life. 

 Well, I am gonna call it a night!

 Until next week!  Yep I said next week, cold weather forced 3 reschedules, I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little excited about a whole week at home!!

 Just dropping in for a quick sneak peek of tonight's shoot. 

 It was another beautiful evening, but I hear there is a change afoot!  Snow this week and quite chilly temperatures.  I am secretly looking forward to the shift to winter photos, I love winter shoots!

 I love the photo below, I would give you specifics but I love everything about it. 

 Check this out, she found a leaf that looks like a heart!  How cool is that?!?

 Just look at all that fall color we managed to squeeze out on November 8th!  Not to shabby!

 And of course we had to break out the Bronco gear!  I think maybe they are Peyton Manning fans, just a hunch.

Okay, one more peek before I call it a night.  

I know, Katie I said Monday, but sometimes Thursday is Monday in my world!

This one of my very favorite family… The Jameson's.

I have been taking photos of these fabulous folks since Kylie was a newborn.

These brave folks decided to try their hand at some family photos with all these little people!

I applaud the brave ones that get out there and go for it.

And I love families like this one, that simply chose to embrace whatever happened.

It was not all smiles and was certainly not with out tears but I love these photos so much!

Just life… with 3 little ones.

 There came a point in the shoot where Keean was only happy on dad's shoulders and so that is where he remained for the duration. 

 I am pretty excited that I FINALLY got the twins figured out.  See I think that Keean looks like a McKay, and McKay looks like a Keean, so… I just take a quick 1/2 to switch it up in my head before I say it!  Brilliant!
