Senior Pictures in Castle Rock, CO

Why is it that I am always doing these sneak peeks after my bedtime.
I need to figure out a new routine so I am not so sleepy when talking about these shoots!
Because this was a really fun shoot!  Mark is learning to be a pilot and got us permission to take some photos out with the planes at Centennial Airport.

This was a first for me but I enjoyed the push out of my box and the chance to play with such fun backgrounds.

In addition, to flying Mark plays the sax in the Douglas County Marching Band.

And doesn't he look like Robin Williams!!!

Look at all those bars on his jacket, I suspect that means he's a big wig!
Actally he is a big wig, he is the drum major! You know that guy in charge with the big stick!

There are no limits to where this guy will go!! The best to luck to you in all your adventures!

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Oh man! I sure do love my job!!!
What a sweet time I had with the Loyd family!
Especially, these sweet little ones, Emerson and Landon!
They were just precious and so much fun to work with.

We had the most amazing weather and beautiful morning light for this shoot!

I know that I do the majority of my shoots in the evening but morning is a great option if:
- You are a morning person (no grumps allowed)
- If you have young kids
PLUS... Colorado weather is almost always beautiful in the morning! No pesky thunderstorms.

I officially booked for July and just about 50% booked for August, so make sure and get on the schedule soon if you are looking for summer photos or 2017 Senior pictures.

LOVE!  Thanks Loyd family!  Hope to see you back again real soon!
Look at those little hands! So CUTE!

Senior Portraits in Castle Rock, CO

Just wanted to drop in for a late night sneak peek.  This is Katelyn (sorry if I am spelling that wrong, there are so many options). She is a 2017 senior at Douglas County High School.
I had such a great time taking her photos.  We played a round of 20 questions when she first arrived so I could get a sense of who she is and what makes her tick.
She told me that she loves the ocean and hopes to move back to Florida where she will study marine biology, some point after graduation a couple of years in community college here in Colorado.

I love these photos so much, she is so soulful.  Her expressions leave you with a question, each one has an air of mystery to it.

Haunting eyes and flawless skin... simply beautiful.

I hope that she loves these photos and sees the stunning young lady that she is staring back at her.
Wishing you all the best in your senior year and beyond, I so enjoyed our time together.
So stinkin' gorgeous!

Children's Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Last night I got to be with two of my favorite boys.
Tristan & Tyler
Tyler just turned 5 and will be starting kindergarten in the fall,
where they definitely do not sing songs, except for maybe "The ABC's".
Oops! We were photo bombed!

Tristan is knocking down 7's door!
It is always a pleasure to photograph these boys, they are always such good listeners!
And the cuteness factor is off the charts!
 Another, photo bomber!

Well... we have church in the park tonight, so I think I might make a batch of chocolate chips cookies.

Speaking of sweet treats the boys and I had a fun game of guess the cupcake topping last night.
In the end, I think it was a tie.

Okay then, I am off... to make cookies! Until next time!
