 Yesterday afternoon I met up with Phil and Kim for my last shoot of 2023 and it was a beautiful one! May all time favorite combination is snow and snow and Colorado delivered! I have been working with this family for a long time over 10 years now (I have any included a look back at some of my faves over the years). I cannot begin to explain how honored and humbled I am to have families like this one come back year after year to have me take their photos. I am privileged to have many such families and each one is so dear to me. Thank you, Kim!!!

 Yesterday afternoon I met up with Denise and her wonderful family - all in town to celebrate Christmas for some updated family pictures (I think their last session was in 2019 - one of my coldest shoots on record - while it was chilly yesterday it seemed downright pleasant in comparison). They even found this awesome sleigh to incorporate in their photos. I am so glad we were able to make this happen and the blizzard skipped us! Thank you, Denise for trusting me with your family photos!! I had a really fun time with your family!

 Final Pre-Christmas Shoot! It was fun to be able to do it with one of my favorite families. We have been working together for many, many year! Since Kerrie was pregnant with Emily! Thankfully it didn't snow like they predicted and it wasn't even cloudy! So we have some yummy sunshine to work with. Which was a welcome change to the shoot before - where is was 17 degrees!!! Well... if you don't hear from me between now and then, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!

 17 degrees. That is how cold it was on this shoot!! My camera was in full-on protest!

My fingers completely numb! But we got done, while family was in town visiting and that was the goal. 

The kids were great sports about it all, poor Asher's ears were bright red. But, no matter the circumstances it is alway fun photographing friends, and Amity is a dear one. 

First snow shoot of the season! Here's to many more (and slightly warmer weather!)
