 Just poppin' in for a quick look at my shoot with Cody and Olivia. Mostly cause I know hard it can be to wait!! And she is already waiting on this baby, there's no reason to make her wait for her pictures too! We had a gorgeous day (we all know how much I like the sunshine for photos)!! But it is taking forever for this snow to move it on out of here! When was that big snow? Like 3 weeks ago, right? The trials are a wee bit muddy and snow packed in other area, so I was a bit worried about Olivia's shoe, but we made it nice little area with relatively dry ground and it worked out just fine (I, however, almost lost my shoe in the snow! and no, I was not wearing flip-flops!)

Baby is due the end of January!!!

 Just a few more shoots and the 2024 season will be done! This past weekend, I had the privilege of taking some photos for my friend, Karen and her boyfriend, Jay. I met Karen several years ago, when we were in the same small group at church. I loved being in a group with her, because she is an amazing baker and she always brought the yummiest treats for us to enjoy. 

We had the most beautiful day for photos, sunshine, warm temps and snow on the ground. Perfect!

I had a great time taking these photos, I hope Karen love them!

Don't let these sunny photos fool you, it was down right chilly at this shoot!! But these cute kiddos did their very best to put on their best smiles for this special cousin shoot! Cold kiddos may have forced us to end our shoot sooner than planned, but sometimes you just have to embrace the moment and the season of life that you are in! Every season is amazing and these photos will always remind this family of the time when their lives were filled with so many little ones!!! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!

I am having trouble qualifying this one.  Dave is my pastor (that means a lot, if you know, you know), but Mindi is my... oh dear, I am having trouble qualifying again - my pastor's wife, my ministry partner-in-crime (well, not crime, that would be inappropriate!!) and one of my dearest friends.

Castle Rock High School Senior Photographer

Yesterday afternoon I met up with Ethan for his senior photos. I love when the senior season flows into November. Ethan is a 2025 senior at Regis and plans to attend the University of Chicago.  I love working with him, he was so photogenic and natural in front of the camera (made my job easy)! This wasn't my first time taking photos of Ethan. I went back to see if I could find that first shoot - I had to go all the way back to 2009!!  He was photogenic then too!!  Have a great senior year Ethan!!
