Castle Rock Family Photographer

Sunday afternoon, I had the privilege of taking family photos for a HOST of my favorite people. Let's just talk about them, shall we... 

Things I love about: (I'm limiting the number of things I can say or we will be here all the live long day.

Brandon: We have to start with his fashion. He has all the colored frames to go with all the fits! Next, there are his side hugs, and the way he says, "How you doing, Ceeeeejay?" Lastly, there's how contemplative he is while playing games.  

Kashia: Top of the list has to be her energy. She has so much passion, and it's all kinds of wonderful. Next, her laugh and the way everyone feels seen and loved in her presence. And I love the truly meaningful things she does for the people she cares about, from organizing birthday parties to showing up with lunch and tea for two. 

Ande: She's a pretty awesome mix of her parents. Loving and kind, funny and passionate. But most of all, I love our long conversations over coffee and puzzles and our monthly game nights! I love that there might be three decades between us but we can still be friends.

Caedon: I don't know Caedon well, but that doesn't mean I don't have things I love about him. He is the best HYPE guy! People should hire him to come to their wedding receptions and get the dance party started. He is also just really nice. He can easily have a conversation with anybody. He is an all-around good guy.

Brianne: I also don't know Brianne well, but I know I love her love for her family. The way she speaks to her kids and her appreciation of the simple things in life. Home-baked bread, preparing a meal, and keeping a home, all the while inspiring others to be content with the things that matter most. 

And then, of course, what's not to love about the kiddos: Addison, Maeson, Asher and Lauren!!!

and the best part... they all love Jesus!

 Meet Ava and Ella.

We had a fun Saturday morning shoot together.

Their mom was hoping to capture the final flowers of summer, and the Courtyard in Castle Rock provided a warm fountain and flower background. 

Shoots with kids are always an adventure, and sometimes not everyone is into having their photos taken. This was Ella's year; she just wanted to be with mom and maybe go to the park! But in between the outstretched arms for mom, I was able to capture some sweet moments between these two sisters.

Castle Rock High School Senior Photographer

 Dropping in to give you a little peek at my shoot with Naomi - it was a beautiful one! It was crazy windy, but we said a little prayer and made it work. I thoroughly enjoy my time with Naomi and her mom, Michelle. It is such a privilege to work with young people, who are closing one chapter of their life and starting another. I hope you have a great senior year, Naomi!

Castle Rock Colorado Family Photographer

 Oh, sweet baby, Cora!!! Isn't she just the cutest baby girl ever!? She was in a much better mood for this shoot. She was definitely curious about the great outdoors and tall grass growing around her, but Grandpa came along to head up the smile department. Olivia booked a mini - "Just Enough" package for first thing in the morning, which is a great time of day for the littles! She also brought along her parents and grandma, so we were able to take a four-generation photo. Our shoot lasted just over 20 minutes, and Cora was able to stick it out with us the entire time. That is quite a feat for someone so little!
