This is the storm that blew in during the maternity shoot below.  Melissa has been hoping for a snow shoot, but we have not had much this year! And the one day we thought maybe the snow was moving more side to side then top to bottom!  Finally, all the pieces came together!  We had snow falling in the right direction and everyone was home and available.  So with a moment's notice, we all jumped in the car and headed out in the snow. And boy was it snowing!! 

I love it!! This is the family shoot I want!

Maternity Photography in Castle Rock, CO

I did this shoot with Jen and her fellas on Friday afternoon.  Oh my goodness! We started the shoot at 4:00 PM with me saying "You sure got a beautiful day!" As we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.  At 4:39 PM I was sitting in my car trying desperately to warm myself up, the sky covered in dark grey clouds. Moments later I was driving home in thick fog and snow flurries.  I have lived in my whole life and I'm still not used to the crazy weather! 

 But before the storm blew in, we got some beautiful photos! So, go head and enjoy!

Maternity Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Look who's having a baby!!  It's my sweet friend Tiffani! She is rounding out her cherubs with a bouncy baby boy, due next month! Man, I wish I would have known to do maternity photos, it's one of my biggest regrets. It's such a miraculous time in your life, it should be documented! I can't wait to meet this little guy!! And I look forward to doing a whole year of photos with him!

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Kerri had a very specific idea for this year's family shoot, she wanted snow, giant evergreens and formal dress.  With the help of a friend in Breckenridge, I was able to find the perfect location and she came up with the fabulous wardrobe.  I was cold but it was worth it! Her kids are amazing and powered through the cold and I tried to work as quickly as possible.  I am so happy with the end result. This was such a fun shoot!  Thanks for trusting me with it, Kerri!
