 Oh, sweet baby, Cora!!! Isn't she just the cutest baby girl ever!? She was in a much better mood for this shoot. She was definitely curious about the great outdoors and tall grass growing around her, but Grandpa came along to head up the smile department. Olivia booked a mini - "Just Enough" package for first thing in the morning, which is a great time of day for the littles! She also brought along her parents and grandma, so we were able to take a four-generation photo. Our shoot lasted just over 20 minutes, and Cora was able to stick it out with us the entire time. That is quite a feat for someone so little!

The first time I took Campbell's pictures, she was just 3 years old and now she is graduating from Valor Christian High School. We had the most beautiful shoot! The sun, the temperature... everything was perfect. Plus, I loved Campbell's outfit choices - perfect for the meadow backdrop.  A big thank you to her mom, Julie, for trusting me with their photos over the years! Campbell, I hope you have the best senior year ever!  You are going to make a fantastic nurse!

This is Lily. She is a 2026 Senior at Ralston Valley and this past Friday night we headed out with a 15% chance of rain to take her senior pictures. What we got was a 100% down pour mixed with hail! It definitely takes first place in my 20 years of business for the worst weather during a shoot. Lily and I faired pretty well, underneath an umbrella and a blanket but Melia and Whitney (Lily's mom) were soaked to the bone! But we weathered the storm and had a beautiful shoot! Lily was a joy to work with and I wish her all the best in her senior year! 

 

BONUS! Adian, Lily's brother, was visiting from out of state. He is also graduating in 2026, so we grabbed a couple of pictures of him as well!

There are just two more months left to capture those sun-soaked summer photos. That is, if you include September, which you should, because it is still mostly green with less rain!  Summer is the perfect time to take family photos that will include young children. The warmer weather just hits a bit better with the younger crowd. Plus, the bright, rich colors of summer make for some beautiful images, especially if you plan your outfits with a pop of color against the gorgeous green backgrounds. Another plus of the summer session is that it typically starts after work, meaning you don't need to make any special arrangements to get off early. With a handful of August sessions still available, you will want to book soon. Oh, and yes! I have heard you and now offer two packages: Just Enough Wishes for those of you who just want to pick a handful of your favorites (15 images), scheduled Monday - Thursday, or the Handful of Wishes all-inclusive session that includes all of your images (40+), scheduled Monday - Saturday.
