Sometimes I forget how much I really do love photography. It can be mentally exhausting, always doubting yourself, comparing yourself to others and wondering if you are good enough. 

But then I say a prayer and get back out there. I meet the client and the images start coming. My mind fills with images I want to capture and the kind of light I want to use to make those images come to life. 

I had the best time with Reagan. A storm blew in and out and left us with gobs of delicious sunshine. We had a lot of fun, scoping out the perfect puddles of light and filling them with Reagan's beautiful smile!

Kid's Photography in Castle Rock, CO

 It is hard to believe that Braxton is 10. 

This year hit different! Maybe it's the hair but he just seemed so grown up this year. I have taken his pictures every year since he was TWO!

He had lots of ideas this year, he has always been up for having pictures taken, so his shoots are always fun and easy! 

And... even though we choose this more urban location, he still managed to find a tree to climb! Yes! I got pictures!!

He always get such a kick out of the walking photos!!

He really is the BEST!! I always look forward to his sessions!!

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Saturday morning I got to meet up with Bianca and her family. We couldn't have asked for better weather, mild temperatures and lots and lots of sunshine; and just look at those fantastic yellow flowers. (I only heard 1 sneeze.) What a fun way to kick off the Memorial Day Weekend. 

I am excited for the photography season to kick back into 4th gear, with lots of seniors and families! June and July are booked, so if you are tossing around the idea of summer or fall photos be sure to get session booked soon!!

Children's Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Look who's 9 months old!!!  It's sweet little Savannah! She was very happy to show off her standing skills and her "W" sitting!! OH!! and her two front teeth!!! They were on full display. This was a great way to start my Monday morning and kick off my week! I always enjoy my shoots with Erin and her kids. I can't believe we will be doing her 1 year shoot in August!!

Senior Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

I posted a sneak peek of my shoot with Charlotte a couple of week's ago, but I just delivered her finished photo package and thought I should share it here as well. Charlotte is actually graduating this year. If you homeschool, or you school uses a specific photographer for the yearbook photo it can be fun to wait until just before graduation to take your seniors photos. One of the obvious perks is having their cap and gown to incorporate in the shoot. These beautiful springs trees were a nice bonus too!  But for those of you with yearbook deadlines in the fall, now is the time to schedule your senior sessions. Space is limited and you don't want to get stuck not being to find a photographer.
