This pretty little lady is Keelin and she is 6 years old.  

When I saw this dress, I immediately thought of the Alice in Wonderland park in Denver, it's a horrible place for pictures because they have everything roped off but if I was a law breaker it would have been perfect!!

 She didn't love "itchy grass" but she was a good sport and 

was willing to do whatever I asked!

 I just loved her sweet simple smile... so classic and beautiful.

 In the photo below she was showing off her twirly dress!!  

What girl doesn't love a good twirly dress???

Thanks Robin for letting me play with your little girl!  I hope the swimming lessons were FUN!!

Speaking of swimming, I have a couple of swimmers standing over me in their suits as I type, so we are off to the pool before the smoke blows in again this afternoon. 

I will be back on Monday with Katie's twin boys!!!

Praying for all the firefighters and the families effected by these terrible fires. We have friends and family that have been evacuated, as do many.

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Just slippin' in with another sneak peek before we head out the door for Melia's orthodontist appointment.  She is excited because today she is getting rubber bands.  I remember feeling the same way, I so desperately wanted a broken arm, braces and crutches.  I got all 3 and then wished I didn't!!

Many of you will recognizing, Amelia... she was one of my milestone babies and now she is TWO!

I absolutely LOVE this sweet picture of here!!!

Amelia's mommy is expecting baby number 2 in August!!  

It's a surprise so you and I will both have to wait to see whether it will be a boy or a girl. 

 Oh the cuteness!!!!

It's Andrew!!!!  We were out documenting his 3rd birthday....

this was him just 3 short years ago, and look at what a handsome boy he has become!

Oh my... is he going to be a heart breaker!!

 I always get excited when the schedule swings towards summer and I know that I will get visits from my Binford kiddos!!

 I have to be honest... I am very sleepy trying to get this blog up.  

Summer is taking a toll!

 The girls and I have been trying to make the most of our summer together so our days have been filled with fun and activities, mixed in with photo shoots and redoing our floors!!

 So... I am going to cut it short and go crash on the couch with my hubby!!

Senior Pictures in Castle Rock, CO

You know...  Senior Pictures could only be improved by having them done in the winter vs. summer.  In case you don't know this about Cija, I am a cool weather girl and I just read the 97 degree forecast for today, so I am feeling a little overwhelmed.  The good news is that my shoot is this morning and not later today... phew!

 But this lovely lady is Melanie, a high school senior at Douglas County High School.

While her future plans are not perfectly clear yet, she knows that she wants to do something where she can help people. 

 Melanie is a soccer player and guitar player... I love the guitar players, I get serenaded while I take pictures! It's fabulous!! 

 I gotta say, I had a great time with Melanie and her mom, in fact we stood around a chatted for an hour after the shoot was over, like long lost girlfriends. 

 It was a pleasure to meet Melanie, she is beautiful on the inside as well as the outside!

 But for now, I have a date with a 6 year old in the park!

Baby Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Well, Summer vacation is officially under way and this year I am trying to make the most of it.  It seems that last year I spent a wee too much time working and not enough time playing with my girls, so... I have come up with a plan or at least stolen one from Pinterest.

On Monday morning... bright and early the girls and I headed out to meet Jill and her sweet boy, Matthew.  It was time for his 6 month photo session.  Did I mention that I spent the weekend in Breckenridge at our ladies retreat?!  Oh my goodness, did Monday morning come early!

 Matthew was sportin' this spiffy blue out fit to help show off his fabulous blue eyes.  I would say that it worked like a charm.  As with many 6 month olds, Matthew was not handing out the smiles, but I didn't mind because just look at how stinkin' cute this face is!!!

 Doesn't he look like a rich billionaire????  I don't know why, but this is how I imagine rich billionaires look when they are babies!

 After our shoot with Matthew the girls and I headed home for some "Girl Talk" and then we made a batch of chocolate chip cookies for "Make it Monday".  

 Today was "Take a Trip Tuesday" and we have a fantastic time at the Highland's Ranch Mansion, lunch at Freddy's, book browsing at the Tattered Cover and toy playing at Timbuck Toys!  Phew!

It was a very full day!!

Now I am off to watch SYTYCD with my precious Melia!
