This may be a record for the shortest blog in history, but I am running soooo behind and I know Monica is anxious to see these pictures!
 Last week I was with Cameron and his little sister, who joined us for a few minutes and a few photos.

 This was a pretty fun shoot way, way up in ARVADA!!

Love this picture of their feet!

Senior Pictures in Castle Pines, Colorado

Just dropping in for another sneak peek, it has been a crazy busy week so far and in just 10 minutes I need to be out the door for a fabulous shoot with Aidan and Ayla.

Earlier this week I was with Emily.  It was awesome!  Such a fun shoot!!
 And all I could think about the whole time was how this young woman received a healing miracle from God, much like my Ryanne did when she was 3.
 We were actually scheduled to do Emily's pictures weeks ago, but had to reschedule when she needed to have a biopsy done right away. She had several lymph nodes that were the size of a golf ball.

 The doctor did the biopsy and things did not look good, he was certain it was cancer, but after sending it to 3 pathologists to "make sure" the answer was NO CANCER!
 I have no doubt the doctor was absolutely correct and that his years of experience had proved faithful in being able to recognize cancer in the operating room.

 But I also believe that the hand of God reached down out of heaven and wiped it away!  Thank you! Jesus!  I love how God works.  Emily's mom had told me that Emily was supposed to be leaving for France as a nanny for her Aunt but the trip was up in the air until a final diagnosis.  I can not tell you how many "Paris" things I saw over the next week and every one reminded me to pray for Emily.
 There is such power in prayer,  and Jesus is certainly not done showing himself to this world thru the power of miracles.  After Emily graduates from Arapahoe (yep, another Arapahoe Senior!!) she hope to study broadcasting at either CU or University of Texas and later work in radio.
 Okay, gotta run!! Cija

Senior Pictures in Castle Rock, CO

 Well, we did it, the first day of school is done and we got thru everything and stayed on scheduled (thank you, Kashia!!)  Now tomorrow will be another test, we add harp lessons and horse back riding to the mix, but I am feeling confident!! Can you believe the girls are going to learn how to play the harp?!?!? I am soooo excited.
 Now it is time for them to play and for me to get some work done before I crank out some dinner and then jet off to another senior shoot.
 So Friday night I was with Madison (and a couple of her friend's that came along as makeshift closet makers and wardrobe advisors)!
 So true story… when I took the picture above a SNAKE slithered by and Madison didn't even flinch!! She just sat there and was like "Oh it's okay."  WHAT!?!?  Okay???? It is NOT okay!  but I tried to act all cool too… now, if that would have been a spider, forget it! I would have hightailed it out of there and she would have been all like "Ummm…. where did she go?!?!"
 So the Red Wall in Castle Rock is now a Blue Wall… what do you think???  I have not decided, I love it here, but I am not sure I will always love it, and I always loved the red wall.
 Madison was hoping for some creek side photos, I aim to please.
(Man, I wish I looked like this sitting by a creek!)

 Now the end of the shoot was my favorite.
No Snakes.
Beautiful lighting.
and
Red Lips!  I love red lips!! They LOOK SOOOO AMAZING!!
 Love love love these pictures with the twirly iron stuff. Yes, that is very technical talk. My mom would have some fancy word, she always has fancy words for ordinary things like:
Davenport = couch
Hassock = footstool
It was very confusing as a child.

 Once again, I got serenaded on this shoot.
(Little secret, I always let them play longer than they actually need too!!)

Well, dinner time is fast approaching!!  I am off!
