We're back!!  We had a great time on vacation, hey, maybe I should do a vacation post!

But until then… let's talk last night.

Senior pictures with Holden, a 2016 senior at Douglas County High School.

 Now, Holden loves music and his favorite subjects are math and science but he is not sure yet what the future holds as far as after high school.

 So… it turned out that our 0% chance of rain, turned into a 100% chance of rain.

Gotta love Colorado!

 So we had some quality time sitting in the car, on two separate occasions… but eventually the rain stopped and we were able to finish up our shoot. 

 

 If you haven't booked your senior session yet, now is the time.  I have 3 more openings for July and several left for August.  Don't delay!!

Children's Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

Well, today is my final shoot and post before we head out on vacation.  Pretty exciting, this is the first vacation we have taken in 5 years.

 After a handful of rain delays, Tyler and I, finally managed to meet up for his 3 year old photos.

I wasn't to keen on the idea to start, but we made our way.  We had a good discussion about cars and trucks to lighten the mood. 

 And then we blamed Sabrina for "tooting"… that's sure to get a smile.

 We listened carefully for the woodpecker...

We compared flip flops.

 Made some down right silly noises.

 and try our hand at some GQ poses!

 Yep… I'd say we did a good job!

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

 Hey there!  Just droppin' by for a quick sneak peek.

Last night I was with John & Renee and their two kids, 

 Mia, who is 5 and Max, who is 8.

 It was a beautiful night for a photo shoot, except for 1 thing.

 Or maybe better stated, a million things!

The mosquitoes were bazonkers! If you have a shoot come up this summer, bath in  OFF! before you come out!  Thankfully, I had some in the car and we will able to fight them off and finish our shoot in peace. 

 Poor Mia, got a splinter early on… but she toughed it out with the promise that dad the "master of splinters would take care of it afterwards".  Thanks for being such a brave little trooper!

 Just FYI… the Cooksey's are hitting the dusty trail.  Heading out for an epic road trip, full on Griswald  style!  So after Tyler peek tomorrow I will be M.I.A. for a couple of weeks.

 I have two more openings for the last week of June, so if you are hoping to get on the calendar this month, don't delay!

Alrighty then,  I must be off!  There is soooo much to do!

Baby Photographer in Denver, Co

This morning Sabrina and I head out bright and early to meet up with this sweet little girl!

 It was time for Annie's 9 month photos. 

 Our recent rains made it some what adventurous… we ran into some very wet swamp like areas, my feet are still cold!  And with out the bug spray we would have been a tasty treat for those little varmints!

 But the sun was shining and that is definitely something to be thankful for!

 Oh my goodness this little one is so stinking squishable!

 And she looks  more and more like her big brother, Ben! Who, for the record, "does not like the interstate".  Yep he said that! 3 years old. 

 Ah… I just love me that smile!

 Just dropping in for a quick sneak from my shoot yesterday morning… was that just yesterday?!?

A lot has happened between now and then.

 Bright and early I headed out to meet up with Mike, Jenna, Colton (below) and Avery (above), from some family photos.

Now I have photographed this family since Colton was a newborn but I think this was our first family shoot!

 Love this photo of the boys, so so much!

 It certainly is green out there with all this rain!!
