Senior Pictures in Lonetree & Highlands Ranch, Colorado

I have plum lost my mind! It is currently 1:00 AM, and here I sit playing with pictures and now trying to write a blog entry, it will be interesting to go back and read this tomorrow, or should I say later today and see if it makes any sense. My New Year's Resolution for next year is definitely going to be to go to bed earlier! But since I am here, let me tell you about "Hilary", a beautiful 2010 Senior from Cherokee Trail High School. Hilary plans to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College after graduating and then plans to attend nursing school. Oh, how I love doing senior pictures, reminds me of my youth and what adventurous and happy times they were. Scheesh, was it windy out there tonight, but quite frankly, once we got started shooting we hardly even noticed it, at times, wind can add some fabulous drama to the shots! Well, I really must wrap this up and head off to bed, tomorrow is scrapbooking day with my peeps, and I am sure the festivities will stretch late into the night!

Senior Pictures in Denver, Colorado

Hey everybody, this is Laura, a 2010 Senior from Denver Christian! I met Laura when she was in the 2nd grade... I was her Sunday school teacher, and wouldn't you know it, 10 years later our paths have crossed again. I found Laura to be just as beautiful and sweet as I remembered her from so long ago. Laura is planning to major in agriculture and hopes to have a farm one day!! I gotta be honest, in all the conversations that I have had with seniors over the years I have never heard that one before; but by golly, I think that's just great! We took Laura's pictures in two different locations and Laura's mom got to try out her Indy driving skills in our race against the sun! Well done, Deb! We made it! Hello All!!! I had a fabulous time on my shoot this evening! The lighting was beautiful the kids were too cute and the family was laid back and relaxed, plus we got to shoot at one of my favorite locations. It's always fun to see how the location changes with the seasons (the flowers were fantabulous!!! If you have a little girl, then this is the spot for you! The kids were doing such a great job we got to do all sorts of fun stuff, and we did it all in just over an hour! Well, it's getting late and my eyes are getting heavy, so it's time to say goodnight! Tomorrow I'll be with my 1st senior girl of the season! Yippee!! Those are always TONS of fun! Till tomorrow! Cija

Family Photographer in Castle Rock

So I went to see Julie & Julia on Friday night and it made me wonder... is there really anybody out there? If so, leave a comment every now and again, oh.. and I have an idea, sign it with a different name each time so I will think I have lots and lots of fans! Alright back to business, yesterday I was at Castlewood Canyon with the Bell's. Funny, I have never been there during the summer (it's just a GREAT winter spot!), it was beautiful, in one area there were lovely long grasses with wildflowers, now, if we could just figure out how to get ride of the snakes. But the Bell's were completely unphased trapsing thru the long grass with out a care in the world! Ya gotta love 'em! There are still a few sessions available for the fall season but not to worry, if you miss the fall, winter is my personal favorite time for family photos!
