 Just before the cold weather set in I met up with Bethanee and Don for their family shoot.

 This litte beauty is Cheyenne and what is she holding?  "A Wish."  I love that!

When I asked her what she found she turned to show it to me and said...

"A Wish!"

 Cheyenne also brought her big brother Brandon.

 I have to add that I LOVED their outfits, they could have only been more perfect with a bit of snow on the ground.  

Well, I can't stay and chat, I am on a mission to get all this orders done and out the door as soon as possible!!!  Have a great week!!  I see you again on Friday!

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Just droppin' in for a quick sneak peek from my shoot with the McKee family this past Thursday!  Then it busy busy busy, today!!

 It was a chilly but sunny day and of course... there was the Colorado wind

(Joey loves the wind and vow to do pictures earlier next year)

This is Christian, he is a senior (you may remember his senior pictures a few months ago)!

 And... you may remember Collin's footbal pictures from just a few weeks ago!!

I love a lot of things about this family but one of things I love the most is how much the laugh.  I could learn from this example and laugh more with my family. 

 The other thing that I find quite entertaining is the always constant dynamic between Joey and the boys at every family shoot.  I think the picture  below sums it up perfectly.
Perhaps the song should be "Boys, they wanna... they wanna have fun!"

Well, I am off!  Tomorrow Rod and I are hosting a holiday version of the Amazing Race and we need to finish up a lot of details!! See you all on Monday!!

Family Photography in Castle Rock, CO

 I have to admit, I am very sad today.  Our bunny, Cocoa died.

And it has been a very difficult day.  Lots and lots of tears have been shed and not just 

by the girls.  I loved that dumb bunny and my heart just breaks for my little girls. 

 On Saturday afternoon, I was with Meggan & Andy and their beautiful girls.  Murrie and Rigel (I called her "Bob", Rigel was very hard to remember) are the two cute little ones sportin' the rainbow ponchos handmade by their mom!! 

(I know I was impressed too AND she home schools!!!)

 This was the perfect Saturday afternoon shoot, the weather was beautiful and this

family was delightful, easy going and full of smiles.

 I am afraid the sadness of the day has me a bit distracted.  So I think I am going wrap things up and busy myself with get ready for the girls cookie party this evening.

It's a little late to just be sitting down to work (11:49 PM) but it has been a busy weekend and will be an even busier week, with a full photography schedule and a jam packed family week as well.

So this seemed to be the best opportunity to knock out a sneak peek.

 I had two shoots on Saturday, the first being with Kristine and Brian, morning shoots in December can be quite chilly but Saturday it was simply... beautiful!!

We were off to a good start, but just a few minutes in Abby's mood began to change 

and she was starting to complain of a tummy ache. 

 It became quite clear that Abby was not just trying to get out of taking pictures, she clearly was not feeling well at all.  

Soon the tears started to fall and all she wanted was to be held and comforted by her mommy.

My heart just broke for her... being sick is such a bummer!

Joe on the other hand was feeling fine and was throughly enjoying his day in the woods!!

Such a sweet smile!!!

The picture below just might be my "Fave of the Day"

 I just love that he is holding his little yellow truck!
That will be a precious memory in years to come!!

I sure hope Abby is feeling better!!!

Now it is bed time for Miss Cija!
