Photographer in Castle Pines, CO - Boyd

I am pretty darn excited! Since starting my business I haven't been to good about factoring in vacation time, especially this time of year the busiest time of the year for photographers, but this year I purposed in my heart to do it differently, to work hard but also to enjoy the holidays with my family.

So today, I have one final shoot for the week and then, I am signing off until next Monday!  I plan to soak up my girlies left and right (I hope they are ready for it!).

It has not been easy turning so many away and I am especially grateful to those who have agreed to wait till January to do their family shoots!!! I can't believe that I am over half way booked for January!!

CAH-RAZY!!!

 This past weekend I was with Kristen and her handsome little family.

I was lovin' me those pink shiny cowgirl boots!!!

This weather has been amazing!!  In fact Kristen had scored some cute little jackets and such for her shoot and never even got a chance to use them!!

 I was in love with the beautiful light in this field... 

and the super cute kids just made it perfect!!

Family Pictures in Castle Rock, CO - Pham

Happy Monday!!!  I thought it was supposed to be warm today, not because I have watched the news or checked the weather, it was just an assumption... so I opened all my windows this morning, trying to beat the afternoon heat and can I just say... "It's FREEZING in here!"

But it was lovely Saturday afternoon when I met up with the Pham Family.  May I take a moment to show off that I remember all of their names?!

Some clients end up being more like friends... Jaclyn is one of those clients.  I have been taking their pictures since Sidney was a baby.  This was our 4th year doing annual family pictures and every single year... it is COLD!!!  Last year was the worst! Mid 20's! We were all freezing!!

 Such cute kids!!!  I just love their little expressions!

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO - O'Brein

On Thursday, I had back to back shoots.

Shoot #1 was with the Robin and her fabulous family!! I am very nervous about trying to remember all the names,  you all know how great I am with names!!!

 I know these lovely ladies are Madison and Isabell...

 and I think.... this is Cole.  Oh man, I'm not sure!!  It's the two youngest kids that are throwin' me!!

 Pretty sure, this little cutie is Emma.  How can I blank out so bad when it comes to names!!! 

 It's re-donk-clue-lus!!!

 Well, it's not because I don't care!!!  I had a really great time with this family and was just tickled pink to meet them!!!

I must press on, The Star Lighting is tonight and I have a shoot at 3:00 so I need to keep up the pace!!!

Family Photography in Castle Rock, Co

 Thank you so much for being patient with me!!!  I am trying hard to balance some personal life into my "photography life"!  The Lord has blessed my life with a wonderful, supportive and loving husband and 3 precious girlies and sweet friends and sometimes the busyness of work can shift my focus in the wrong direction for bigger chunks of time than it should.

 So this week, admits the 5 shoots and late night of editing I tried to squeeze in some F.F.F. (Family, Friends & Fun) time!  Every single minute was jam packed but it was absolutely fabulous!!

The Twilight Saga (yep the WHOLE thing), homemade popcorn and fabulous lunches with Steph, Shopping and table planning with Ann, date night with Rod, family movie night and nail painting with the girls and that is just a few of the highlights!!  

 And on Wednesday afternoon, I was with Ben...

Sweet... Sweet... Ben!!  

 He was definitely showing off his 9 month skills!!!  Standing! Crawling! Fabulous!

 I seriously love the picture below!!  LOVE LOVE LOVE!

 Oh! and Duke came too!!
