One of the things I love most about my job, it that I get to meet some really great people and then they keep showing up on the other side of my lens. Just about all of my customer return for another round of photos and that is my most favorite part of my job. I met this awesome family when their oldest son, Ryker was born.  I got to see them every 3 months are his milestone session and then much to my delight they had, Deacon!!  And we have had another fun filled year of photo ops!! I am sad to say that this is Deacon's 1 year session (insert sad face here...) and I will miss our quarterly shoots but here's hoping for another one!!  I mean they should really try for a girl right?!

Photographer in Castle Pines

I am not gonna lie, I have no idea what day it is!  School started at some point this week and holy moly is it kicking Cija's Booty!!  See, I am talking in 3rd person now! Any who... I know for certain that it is time to get Heather and Paul's sneak peek up!! We originally planned to do their shoot at the MAC but then we found out that they were having a festival and decided last minute to move. This location turned out to be really great!  Normally, I don't recommend it for this many people but I have officially changed my mind.  As always, I enjoy every minute of shooting this fabulous family!

Senior Pictures - Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

I can not tell you how much I enjoy taking senior pictures.  Each one inspires me and pushes me and I always leave feeling like I did this art of photography just a little bit better today than yesterday. 

It doesn't hurt when you have such amazing models to help you along the way. 

This is Hillary, she is a 2017 Senior at Heritage High School.  I absolutely love this girl's funky vibe.  She made me laugh and smile and just want to be more like her! She hopes to become either a nurse or an occupational therapist for kids with special needs.  She will be awesome!  Her patients will adore her and want to work hard to please her!!

Senior Picture in Castle Rock, CO

Friday night, I got to do senior pictures with Katelyn.  

SO MUCH FUN!!!

 Fortunately, the rain stayed away and we were able to get the whole shoot done. 

I LOVED her outfits!! and all her snazzy jewerly!

 Plus, as a bonus... we had live music during our whole shoot!  

 Katelyn is a 2017 Senior at Elizabeth High School and hopes to study dentistry after she graduates. 

  We even stumbled across this very cool car... don't worry, we didn't touch it.  Stayed a safe distance away just in case the owners came back mid shot.

 Yep... we had fun, fun, fun till our daddy took the... (yes, I know it not a T-bird!) 

Give this car girl some credit.

 Time for a peek at my shoot with Steve, Dana and my friends... Dillon and Blake!

 The wind had us changing locations to this great wind loving location at that very last minute, but I am glad we did because the filtered light through out this session was b-e-u-teaful!

 And bonus, it was right in their own backyard, well not literally but figuratively. 

 LOOK! See what I mean! Such yummy gold sunlight!

 Ah... My friends.  I called them my friends because for the LIFE of ME I could NOT keep their names straight!

 Really... why is this so challenging me for?

 But seriously, what a GREAT family! So much fun to hang out with them and take their first EVER family pictures!!!  Say WHAT?!?  I know! That's what I said. 

Well... better late than never!!  That's for choosing me to document such a special occasion!
