Oh my, I must admit I am quite sleepy! Last night was my "Favorite Things" Party so I got to bed a bit late and then I laid awake most of the night thinking about tonight's shoot. I just hate it when I do that! Tonight I got to do my first "Girl" Senior session of the season (try saying that 3 times fast)! Girls are always fun, because they almost always like being in front of the camera and are willing to try just about anything! Megan was no exception! She was willing to jump right in the middle of the lake if I wanted her to, fortunately it never came to that, although she did find herself in the middle of a stream and a fountain on a couple different occasions. Girls, like Megan, make my job super easy... isn't she simply STUNNING! Well, I am making one typ-o after the next so that is my cue to turn off the computer and go to bed!! See you again soon! Oh my goodness!! I just love that little peek!

Well, I had a very fun start to my morning! I got to do my very first in home newborn session with this precious little girl. Isn't she just the sweetest little thing?!?! I have offered in home newborn sessions for a while now, but Melissa was the first to take me up on it. Family Photographer in Parker, CO

So last night, my family rode with me to my photo shoot (we had dinner plans afterwards with friends and I knew there was a playground near by that would score me some points), anywhoo... when we pulled up to park there were a bunch of teenagers just hangin' out in the park. One boy in particular caught my girl's eye, no shirt, lots of tattoos, and his pants belted half way up his "buttocks" with his boxer shorts poofing out over top. One the girls said "Why is that boy's panties showing??" Just cracked me up!! ("I can see your panties and you don't even care!" add surly accent... that one is for you Kim!!).

Is it possible that it is already Thursday? This week has flown by and I have very little to show for it! I did actually manage to get my kids to the pool yesterday, phew... I'm glad that's done for the summer!! I'm looking forward to this weekend, not only is it Father's day, but it's my birthday!!! I am not one of those people who don't celebrate birthdays, I love 'em!! And the longer I can make the celebration last the better!! Perhaps we should start celebrating even tonight, dinner out somewhere, maybe some smore's when we get back home!! Yes that sounds lovely!!

Well, today Levi came by for a visit. He is almost 4 months old! Doesn't he have beautiful eyes?? Just so dreamy! Levi's mom is taking advantage of the baby milestone package so we will get to see little Levi at least 3 more times (6 months, 9 month and 1 year)! Well, it's going on dinner time, I better find my shoes, so I ready when my hubby gets home! Now, where to go...

Oh my goodness, I am just down right giddy about my shoot today. First of all it was an "on location in home shoot" (which is where I come to your house) and I absolutely LOVED the personal feel that it gave these photos. Secondly, Sung is also a photographer (a photo journalist, she's even taken pictures of the President!!). She was letting me try out her studio equipment (so I could decide if I wanted to set up a studio in my home), she was a great teacher and while I learned alot..., my opinion of studio photography remained the same. Me no likey!! So we took the shoot back upstairs and I did my "Cija" thing! Natural light all the way! There is just nothin' more beautiful!! And when you are shooting such a beautiful lady, the results can be breathe taking... I hope you enjoy!!! Shhh... today I was with Shelley and Joshua. They came out to have some photos done for Joshua's dad for Father's Day. I just love how these turned out...
