Senior Pictures in Castle Rock CO

I love taking senior pictures so much!!!!

This stunning young lady is Abbie.

I feel some connection to her as her mom is good friends with my best friend and so I have had the opportunity to get to know her mom and hear her amazing story. 

 Abbie's life is truly a miracle.  She was born with not one, but seven heart defects. All of which, sounded terrible when described to me. 

 Each one has been repaired over the course of four open heart surgeries. 

 Her own journey has inspired Abbie to find a career as a nurse in the pediatrics cardiology field. 

 She will no doubt bring a very special perspective to her patients and the 

doctors that she works with. 

 Abbie had originally wanted her photos down at the Highland's Ranch Mansion but they had a private event going on. 

 I actually think it was to her advantage because this location was so much fun and so beautiful with her sense of style!

 Did I mention that Abbie does POMS?

For those of you how were born before 1970, that is different than cheer leading.

 And she is a dancer!!

 This was so much fun!!!  

 People were literally yelling at her, telling her how beautiful she is and little girls were coming over to get a closer look at the pretty princess!!

 Now... she may have almost fallen in this fountain twice, but the real victory was in the recovery and sloppy wet mess averted!

 The picture below was taken to highlight her grandmother's necklace.  A very special reminder of her grandma that passed away last Christmas.
