Hey All... well it's Sunday afternoon, the kids are at the neighbor's, the hubbie is asleep on the couch and I am gearing up for my shoot in just a couple of hours. Maternity Photography In Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Parker & Denver Metro

Yes, I am at it again in the wee hours of the morning... and yes, I always regret it in the morning! Today I had two photo shoots the first was here at the house, a maternity shoot. Baby Kate is due to make her arrival in September. Mom, dad and big brother Kevin are excited to meet this precious little one (and so am I!!) I just love those newborn shoots! Festival in the Park

So last Saturday, our church, Calvary Chapel Castle Rock hosted Festival in the Park. It's our largest community outreach of the year and boy was it FUN!!! Originally I was signed up to help with face painting, but was then asked to photograph the event instead... phew! The face painting was WAY beyond my skill level! My husband entered and won his very first chili cookoff!! Way to go, honner! Don't ya wish this blog had a smell feature?!? YUM! My girlies ran like crazy people all day, there were jumpy things, a rock climbing wall, a magician, watermelon eating contests, games and more! All for FREE!! Oh, and did I mention lunch!??! and 4 different bands that rocked the park! Make sure you don't miss it next year!!

Ya just gotta love boys! They always crack me up... having 3 girls the whole dynamic is so different! These handsome fellows are Luke & John, and this was my second opportunity to work with these fine young men. We went to an open space park south of Castle Rock and just let them run crazy through the tall grasses... and whew! were they tall! It was a really neat place and after the shoot was over I sat in my car, read a book and watched the sunset! Ah... just what the doctor ordered. Happy Monday everyone! Holy cow that was a crazy busy weekend! Scrapbooking with my peeps on Friday, Festival in the Park on Saturday, church and home fellowship on Sunday, so when did I have a chance to see this little fairy princess?!? Well, Eva and I spent about a hour together Saturday evening, in between the Festival and the Chinese takeout! Oh my goodness, this sweet child was an absolute doll, with those great big baby blues and a smile that squeezed my heart! Eva is 4 months old, still to little for sitting up, so I brought a couple of different baskets to help Eva look her very best! As far as I am concerned a baby is never to young for an outdoor photoshoot! (I can't wait till winter I found the cutest little sleigh just big enough for a wee one!) Senior Pictures in Lonetree & Highlands Ranch, Colorado

I have plum lost my mind! It is currently 1:00 AM, and here I sit playing with pictures and now trying to write a blog entry, it will be interesting to go back and read this tomorrow, or should I say later today and see if it makes any sense. My New Year's Resolution for next year is definitely going to be to go to bed earlier! But since I am here, let me tell you about "Hilary", a beautiful 2010 Senior from Cherokee Trail High School. Hilary plans to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College after graduating and then plans to attend nursing school. Oh, how I love doing senior pictures, reminds me of my youth and what adventurous and happy times they were. Scheesh, was it windy out there tonight, but quite frankly, once we got started shooting we hardly even noticed it, at times, wind can add some fabulous drama to the shots! Well, I really must wrap this up and head off to bed, tomorrow is scrapbooking day with my peeps, and I am sure the festivities will stretch late into the night!

Senior Pictures in Denver, Colorado

Hey everybody, this is Laura, a 2010 Senior from Denver Christian! I met Laura when she was in the 2nd grade... I was her Sunday school teacher, and wouldn't you know it, 10 years later our paths have crossed again. I found Laura to be just as beautiful and sweet as I remembered her from so long ago. Laura is planning to major in agriculture and hopes to have a farm one day!! I gotta be honest, in all the conversations that I have had with seniors over the years I have never heard that one before; but by golly, I think that's just great! We took Laura's pictures in two different locations and Laura's mom got to try out her Indy driving skills in our race against the sun! Well done, Deb! We made it!
