I recently got some parenting advise from a girlfriend, she said that she would have her kids write and essay about the "matter". Sabrina is the most challenging to discipline, it's hard to find what matters to her, so today after back to back instances of not being nice to her sister I gave her, her first essay assignment. Being Kind
Being mean is not ok and you should never be mean to be cool. I learned that people don't like mean people. God says a kindhearted women gains respect but ruthless men gain only wealth. Being mean is not the answer, nice, kind and kind hearted is the answer. If you are not kind you have a chance of losing your best friend, or you can lose trust from your friends and if you have sisters they will not like you any more too. It is important that we are nice because you can lose everything. Say you were at school and some girl came over and said you looked ugly, you wouldn't want to be her friend, right? Right. But do NOT be mean back, just walk away. God also says make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. Saying a mean thing is not fun for the person that is getting bullied. So please try to not be mean. It is sort of like getting bit by a rabbit. It hurts! So see... being mean isn't fun.
