Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

So this afternoon, I ran out to meet up with John, Juliann and Gavin.

It has been 4 years since our last shoot and look how grown up Gavin is!!!!

He was just 5 years old (below).

It was another incredible weather night! Just beautiful!

Shortly after this photo was taken, I put on a little show! Tricked over a piece of wood while walking backwards and totally wiped out! The good thing was the nail that was in that wood was facing down vs. UP! I just love when I embarrass myself in this way!

and this is exactly why I don't go to Daniel's Gate… I would be dead.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

So, I love this location, it's got great variety and photographs so well… but in just the last couple of months so many other photographers have discovered it, so I think we may have to make it off limits on the weekends. Today, there was no one… Last Saturday there was 8 different photographers there!

Well, I think I am going to call it a night and join Rod for some couch time.

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, CO

So yesterday, I had the privilege of taking some extended family photos for my dear friend, Amity. (The gorgeous blonde on the end.)

Her dad and stepmom were visiting from Indiana.

This picture of Amity's dad with here kids might just be my fave of the day.

I absolutely LOVE IT!

Amity and Collin just playing with their kids, Eleary and Asher, and a sweet Happy Birthday to their sweet girl, Eliza who is waiting for them in heaven.

The picture good only be improved by a video feed!!! You should have seen little Asher getting crazy on that chair!

Amity's dad had some of his own ideas when it came to pictures…. I thought I would share just a couple of them with you.

Senior Pictures in Castle Rock, CO

It is way too early to be up on a Saturday, especially when the girlies and I stayed up late!

But I have lost the ability to sleep in! Which is not good for someone who stays up until the wee hours of the morning!

But I am up and that means that Abby's sneak peek is going up early!!

And that can't be a bad thing right?!?!

So Abby is probably my last senior of the season (unless I get some more homeschoolers!!) but until then… insert sad face here.

But if this must be the last, well then, it is good to go out on a good note!

Abby is home-schooled and while she finishes her senior year she will also have her associates degree! And will soon be heading off to nursing school.

Mom, dad and her best friend, Jade came along for the festivites!

Dad even moved this log for me (there was no way I was picking it up, I think me all know why) and it was totally worth it.

Beautiful!!!

Oh… the gun. So Abby's like a super shot, won her some contests and even got to shoot with an olympian, and she bought this bad boy with money from babysitting!!
