Family Photographer in Lonetree, CO

Ack!!  The full weight of the fall schedule is hitting me and I am a day late with this sneak peek, please forgive me Kristy!!  But on Saturday evening I met up with Chris & Kristy for their bi-annual (wait does that mean every other year) family shoot.
I about had a heart attack when I pulled in the parking lot and there were like 50 cars!! and then I saw 100+ people down by the barn.  Apparently a bunch a parents got together and decided they would get their high schoolers together for homecoming photos.  It was total mayhem!
But we went with it and made it work and by the time we made our way to the barn they were all gone.   So let talk kiddos.
First we have Ally...
 Then Brady….
and the oldest of the group… Charlie.
I am a little distracted tonight… I am sad for my mommy.  Her dog, Misty (only 7 years) is very sick and her kidneys are failing, she is not going to make it and my mom is devastated.  She has had a very difficult year, my dad passing away in January, the selling of the home they lived in for 45 years and moving in with sister meant letting go of so many of her personal belongings. Add to that, chronic pain in her back that has drastically limited her mobility and taken away her freedom to drive.
I was praying for her tonight on the way to my shoot and prayed that Jesus would show himself to her through all of this in a way that she has never experienced him before.  As I prayed, I pictured him scooping her up in his arms and holding her close, an image that moved me to tears.
Such a loving Savior..
 Okay… snapping back.
So I may have told the boys to "TICKLE!!!"
I love this shot!!!
 Such a gorgeous sky!!!

Now… I may have added to my list of lawlessness!!
No dogs allowed!!
But it couldn't be helped!  Lucky had to join us for one last shot!
Time to boogie!
