There are times, when it seems that nothing goes right on a shoot, thankfully it's a very rare thing, but it does happen. Today was looking like one of those times. The wind was insane, little Carly's hair was flying everywhere, and poor little Isaac was not a fan. We tried to make the beautiful Daniel's Gate work but in the end we decided to try one last thing... we drove over to "The Sanctuary" figured we would duck behind a wall and hide from the howling wind; but then... this happened.

I can not tell you how much a love this photo, so much that I am tempted to blow it up and hang it on my wall!

Family Photographer in Castle Rock, Colorado

Early this morning I was with Williams family. Julie wanted some mountain views, but in the morning you have to go west to get the mountains in the east so the sun won't be in your eyes. So we headed west and then south 22 miles round trip on a wash board dirt road... I thought my teeth were going to fall out of my head!
Even when you go west, to get the mountains in the east the mountains in the west are still prettier...

Julie's parents were in town for a visit, so we got one of the whole family.

Okay... so this was quite the adventure, at our first stop there were some campers, but hey! We just drove 11 miles of wash board for those views! So we were moving in, campers or no campers... they were still sleeping anyway, so we just tried to be quiet. It was time to head to our next location, I jumped in my car, secured my camera for the bumpy ride and tried to put the car in reverse. Nothing, it wouldn't budge! I tried again and again!! Finally, I got out and went to get Julie's husband to help. He mentioned that maybe the ride had jolted something loose in the transmission... YIKES! He jumps in the front seat and tries to put it in gear... nothing!

So... wait for it...

He turns the key in the ignition and wahla! Problem fixed! (hmmm... I guess you have to turn the car on for it to go into gear!) Who knew!?!

One final picture with Grandpa and the boys and it was time to head home.

So on Thursday night, I met up with Anita, Erik, Jake & Ben. Jake & Ben are 6 year old twins, which was kinda fun because I have 6 year old twins too (only mine are girls instead of boys).
Okay, I just love this picture of these two boys, just laughing and playin' with each other. It's maybe even my favorite of the night.

Love Love Love this one too!! I love any picture of a dad enjoying his kids! So Cute!

Ah... and then there is mama with her boys... precious.

Baby Milestone Pictures in Castle Rock, Colorado

So yesterday morning, I met up with Andrew for his 9 month Milestone shoot, it was a bit brisk!! But he was a real trooper!I just love all his different expressions!! So many cute little faces!

In the picture below we were taking a little warm up break!! Oh, I just LOVE this picture, every time I look at it, it makes me smile!

Well, I will stop dilly dallying and get this blog up so Andrew's mom can get her sneak peak!!
